Did you ever wake up in the morning after a restless night and think that you cannot keep doing this anymore? have you done this countless times and still forced yourself out of that cozy bed and back into the grind of the day? Is that what you call living? It sounds like overwhelm to me. Perhaps we cannot just stop what we are doing; but, we can change what we are doing. This does not always happen in a minute although once we resolve to change, the change indeed begins. It is like planting a seed. We must water it and nurture it and it will grow and so will we; right out of our present situations. Try it, you'll like it.
Sometimes we seem to be placed in situations beyond our control and they become endurance tests. Can we keep on doing what we are doing until the storm breaks and life 'normalizes' once again?
One observation is that these testing moments . . .

Do believers take action? Can you be called a true believer and not take action? Do you feel that this is a sign of courage to Not do what you feel that the Lord wants you to do? Is that courage? Courage is taking action in spite of fear and obstacles. If you have no fear, you need no courage. If you do things which you know will bring dire consequences, then you could hardly call that courage or anything else positive for that matter.
Each of us has a purpose for being here on this planet. Isn't it time to step up your game and begin to live true to who you were meant to be? Isn't it time to be more courageous and to take appropriate action to free yourself from the bondage of debt, and the controlling influence of those who love to use you and take advantage of you or to place themselves between you and God and the true freedom you deserve and desire? It is my mission to continue my journey into this greater freedom and to assist those few who desire to take that journey with me. Count yourself in. I commend you for taking the action you have in reading this post.
To your happiness. Captain Mike

How many times in life do you get to feel like a kid in a candy store? Perhaps not many; especially as life adds time to our record here on the earth. Is that a subtle enough way of putting it?
Well, here's the thing. We create the Opportunities to feel great and to have fun in life. That does not have to mean that we set the whole thing up; but, it does mean that we have to take action when the opportunities come to us. I recall being back in college and listening to one professor explaining that you cannot motivate anyone. Interesting. He was a lawyer and a sports coach as well as human relations teacher. It seems like he knew something.
Although I desire greater freedoms for myself and for you as well, I can choose to go for it and I have. You must do the same thing. Always ask yourself this question: will I be happy if I do that? will I be unhappy if I do not do that? Make wise choices - I know you can do it.
If you do nothing else, at least do this one thing for yourself. Take Action Today And Every Day Towards Escaping The Rat Race & Living Your Dreams.
All the best to You. Captain Mike
P.S. Something special is in the works to help with Your Great Escape.

Happy Birthday, Lord, Jesus. I am happy to celebrate our Savior any time I can. Let us all do and say kind things today and everyday for we are Christians indeed...are we not? Michael
|
Celebrating the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ is a good thing to do every day. Of course, it is traditional to celebrate at Christmas time and that is indeed a beautiful time of year. Easter is a very spiritual time of year as well and many remember our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus at that time. Did you know that millions of Christians believe that the actual time of year that the Lord was born was at this time of year? April 6th, has been celebrated for generations by many, as the actual birthday of Jesus.
Well, we ought to be happy to celebrate every day, since we have been so blessed to have a Savior and Redeemer; I say, Happy Birthday, Lord Jesus. Let us all do some special good deeds to present as a gift unto Him. Michael

Friends and Neighbors: If you want to be happy, then consider these few words. God made you and me as well. We are all His children. When you take your children to play in the playground, you probably tell them to play 'nice'. Or in other words, you teach them that they need to get along with the other kids so that everyone has a good time and in effect, everyone wins. You do not tolerate bullying from your children nor from others. The children are thus learning to live in peace.
We know as adults, that no one really wins a war. Once we realize that cooperation brings about greater happiness for all, we tend to apply this more effectively in our lives. Then, along comes the rat race and the crazy pace of life and we gradually forget to give our neighbors and friends even the time of day. The cooperation level diminishes since we just don't have the time to share with others.
It is well past time to slow down and to spend time with those in our families and our neighborhoods. That interaction brings a happiness and satisfaction that money cannot buy and add significantly to the quality of life. Stop cheating yourself and others and begin today to step out of the rat race by, taking at least a moment or two to make a visit - to stop by and ask how your neighbors are doing and to really care about the answers they give. Allow others to bless your life and be sure to bless theirs.
Is that what Jesus would have you do? You can be sure it is. Oh Happy Day. Michael

It is a funny thing but, it used to be that we could predict the first day of spring; for it was always March 21st. Well, now it comes when the moon is right. Kind of funny actually. I suppose, a day difference here or there is no big deal. The cool thing is that spring is here once more and with it, comes the excitement of new growth and the beginnings of the warm weather.
I have always loved this time of year. I grew up in the northland and experienced a lot of cold and snow. The winters were fun and beautiful and yet, spring held an excitement that gave us a special feeling of joy. In fact, someone coined the phrase, "Spring Fever". I look forward to this feeling each year. Where I live, spring is in full bloom - now that I have escaped the cold north.
May this season bring with it, much joy and happiness and prosperity into your life and into the lives of your family; and may you make even more room in your heart for Jesus, The Son of God. Happy Spring.

Just for fun, let us consider taking a trip by space craft. We will be going to a better world and end up living with God. Given the chance to take a few others along with us on the journey, most of us would take our families. Not only that, we would be prepared to make a new start and so, leaving behind our material possessions here would not be much of a problem. We would have better things there; and besides, life is not all about such things - or at least it shouldn't be.
We might be happy to have a little time to get ready for the trip since it takes a bit of time to get a hold of everyone who might be coming with us and to let them set their lives in order, so they are ready to leave the old life behind as well. It will be much better if all of us are prepared.
In a very real sense, this is the opportunity we have right now in our lives. We must learn to adjust our priorities and begin to get ready for the journey to a new life to come. It will happen, ready or not. Unfortunately, the problem is that it will be much better if we are prepared; for, this is the time for us to get ready to return to God.
Do we want our families there with us? Well, let us get with the program then to make sure that we make it and that they do as well. Please help my family too as I help yours for we are all neighbors after all and we're all in this together. Michael
